Alabama Governor, Don Siegelman on electoral inconsistencies
Interesting interview from this recently unearthed video
Taped in 2004, in which the former governor focused on allegations of the out-and-out theft of his 2002 contest. He describes having gone to bed on Election Night after having been declared the victor by 6,000 votes following the publicly-counted results. But then, he was then awoken at about 4:30am with the shocking news that the numbers had magically been flipped after the all-Republican Election Board in Baldwin County had "re-counted" the results, illegally, by themselves, after midnight.
Seigelman's only guess about what could have happened: "Somebody electronically manipulated the election results."
Siegelman still sits in jail, and disallowed from speaking to the media, after U.S. Attorney brought an apparently trumped-up case against him.

I can't believe that Don Siegelman is still in prison.
Mark Fuller's only court experience was serving as district attorney in Coffee country for less than two years while during the same period holding a full time job as president of Doss Aviations which involves a lot of air travel communicating to CO. He should have been nominated the man of the year in 2002.
I feel that he was committing fraud by leaving his staff to run the district attorney's office in Coffee County. I wonder how the victims felt when he did not show up for court cases. I also wonder how many case were dropped by the judge because of his absences.
With his inexperience with court cases Bush should have deligated someone to help him. He needs a paper back copy of the book, "how to be U.S. Judge for Dumies".
Everyone knows that there are things in the court records that he does not want to be disclosed. This is why they will never be turned over to the appeal court or to the Judical Committee.
The other judges are scared of him because he is a big man in stature and has a record of aggressive behavior.
