Eisenhower's Fears

On January 17, 1961, President Dwight D. Eisenhower in his farewell address to the nation in what is called his Military Industrial Complex Speech, said:

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

"We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together."

His children suggest that in an earlier draft of the speech, he refered to the "military-industrial-congressional complex".

Anyway, here's how it works...

Still have confidence in the 'official' 911 report?

Thank you for posting this.

This simple whiteboard overview sums up how we are being manipulated.

The proof, I guess, is the fact that none of this is reported in any standard news media.

The reality is that most intelligent reporters know that there is often more to a story than they can tell.

They have to pay the bills like everyone else and such conform to the dictates of our not-so-free press institutions.
